Hey people! What’s up? Well, you must be busy in your hectic routine lives as you have a bulk of responsibilities upon your heads, which you have to fulfill if I’m not wrong robotically. But let me ask you a question. Are you peopling really living or just existing? Umm, do you think both are one and the same things? Well, really not! Many of you must have a tough time; some may carry a heavy heart that sinks deep down, you do something but not with your will. You may be unhappy or regretful. Maybe you merely exist without thinking what you’re doing and why? Perhaps you’re unsatisfied with your life, and living seems a burden to you and nothing else. Well, I have some questions for you. Ask yourself these 10 questions, which may trigger your mind to think differently, molding you to have a fresh start that will ultimately lead you to start loving and living your life again!
1. Do you love yourself?
The first step in loving your life is to love yourself. Self-love is essential, as it reflects that you love yourself the way you are, with every flaw you accept yourself. Self-love brings self-trust, and this eventually builds up the sense of conquering in you against all the demons that come across your way. This is where you see your life with aspiration. Have a look over here to see the ways you may love yourself.
2. Do you live in the present?
You may be dwelling over the worst past you’ve faced or may have worries regarding the future to opt for the best door to enter, but crying over these thoughts will only distract you from your presentation in which you are! You could neither go the past to change whatever is done nor could you fight your fate to change your future. These thoughts will only draw you towards depression and gloominess. Let bygones be bygones. Enjoy the present to the fullest. Be happy. Today is actually a ‘present’ from Almighty. Be thankful, and do not overthink.
3. What’s your perception of happiness?
It is the smallest thing that matters. Giving someone your place in a queue when they’re in a hurry, or sharing your lunch with someone hungry, or lending your help to clear up the fallen mess for someone, giving even the smallest gifts to your loved ones to put a smile on their face, or helping someone cross the road. The little saint deeds you do for someone or someone does for you are actually that matters! These small concerns that someone has for you is the cause of happiness. Happiness is not something that you feel by getting things; you can be happy even after giving. It is never related to materialistic things. Therefore if you ever become gloomy over the things you don’t have, consider thinking about the people who care for you, who are there for you, who loves you because life is beautiful, when beautiful people surround you.
4. How often do you compare yourself to others?
The attitude of comparing yourself to others will always bring you toxicity. If you’re one of them, this toxic trait will burn you inside out. Whenever you’re about to compare in whatever situation, just think that you are both on different chapters of your books of life. Know your limits. Everyone is unique in their ways, with variable capabilities and talents blessed by the Almighty. You may not be able to do what others can do and vice versa. Your comparison is with yourself in the path of being better than you were yesterday. In the end, it’s you, VS you!
5. Do you seek perfection in everything?
What do you think perfection is? In accordance with my thinking and analysis, the desire to be perfect just invites destruction for you. Be it the desire to change the facial features to get the classic looks, or the desire of ideal figure, ideal lifestyle, or whatever perfection you wish for. These desires will only bring ungratefulness in your life, making you sad for not getting what you longed for, and later on, with your pathetic decisions will lead you to the never-ending road of regrets. Don’t run for perfection to make your lives miserable, rather proud to be the perfectly imperfect you!
6. How grateful are you?
Gratitude is a blessing for those who pay heed to it. Be thankful for even the smallest things you have. Even in the worst situations, being grateful will bring relief, contentment, and light heartiness. See to those who are in worst scenarios than you, and gratitude will automatically come to you. In this way, you’ll see yourself in a much better position, eventually loving the life you have!
7. Do you frequently greet your achievements?
Life is very monotonous without celebrations. But when the celebrations are related to your accomplishments, why show a lackluster attitude towards it? Addressing your achievements boost up your confidence and sense of winning. You feel motivated. The feeling fills you up with high spirits, and you start looking to your life with positive aspects.
8. How often you try new things?
If you’re always busy doing the usual things, you’ll never know where you are good at. You’ll simply get gloomy in your day to day chores. Try something new and exciting every day, learn something new more often. Carry out things that you love such as, writing, fishing, baking, gardening, dancing, camping, photography, etc. discover the beauty of this earth and make every day of your life special; you’ll definitely find it bewitching!
9. Are you a person to procrastinates?
Whatever comes in your life, deal with it, face it, conquer it! Do not hum and haw over the things putting your back on it. This way, you’ll only put yourself in anxiety and stress. Hardships are a part of life. Everyone has to face it sooner or later, but the reaction to these hardships will show your inner strength and courage. Just kick the can down the road and free yourself, you’ll either win or learn. This way, you’ll feel a sense of encouragement towards your life!
10. How sanguine are you?
How many of you are often drawn into the tides of gloom ridden thoughts? Well, 70% of us face it because of the fears we have deep down. We have to work against those fears and face them. Optimism is the key to achievements and success. We can’t win without hope. Being optimistic is enough to ride the ups and downs of your life. Remember, every cloud has a silver lining. Your life is far more beautiful, with a cheerful mind.
“Optimism is essential to achievements, and it is also the foundation of courage and true progress.”Nicholas M.Butler
The above questions must have stimulated you to ponder those aspects of your life, which you have been neglecting. Happiness doesn’t depend on an external source. According to research, only 10% of the outer world affects your satisfaction; the other 90% comes from within you! That is your positive perspective towards life and people. Be happy. Enjoy. Cherish every moment of your life. This life is a present from the Almighty, and it is given only once. Be grateful for everything you have and then see miracles happening. You’ll definitely agree that life is beautiful. Live at it! Love it!
