Well, I am probably going to disappoint you here by saying that for everyone this step varies a lot.

Increase Your Self Awareness
For this part, meditation and seclusion with your thoughts is a pretty important step. It would be best if you learned to put the rest of the world on another site for a moment each time and focus on yourself. How are you feeling; hungry, tired, bored, happy? What your body is telling you. How your posture is right now. How you are breathing.
It is easier if you start with feeling the physical part and after that, you close your eyes and focus on the inside:
What have you been doing? What are the things you are working towards? How you plan to do that? What makes you sad? What makes you smile? What are your ambitions?
Think about that for a bit from now, and then, only with that, you are ahead of many people but Remember, the goal is not to compare yourself to them. Right? Let’s continue.
Face Your Fears
There is a simple reason why we avoid certain things. We are afraid of them. But facing your fears is one of the best ways to get to know yourself.
Do you have any food that you hated as a child and when you finally tasted it it wasn’t that or even liked it after all?
We are not saying that you will love spiders or heights, but be smart about it and take steps so that you stop having this constant fear behind your back that only drags you down.
This thing takes time, effort, and maybe even tears in some cases. But you will come out knowing a lot about yourself when you are done.
Focus on Your Strengths
When you already start to know what is really on your mind and how to slightly manage it, you need to start focusing on what you do best; your strengths.
You will become successful faster, besides continuing the path of knowing yourself always a little bit more each day.
Even if you are stuck and do not know what your strengths are, with just a little bit of mind and practical work, you can deduce them, and by doing it, you are also starting to practice them more, win-win.
There is no need for me to tell you how many people have had a little talent and are now living in mansions, thanks to exploiting it correctly. Many of them started from nothing, and even some of those started their lives without having enough to eat regularly. You can surely take control of your life when you decide to.
